Today was a very exciting day. We got to pass out another cupcake. This cupcakes was the peanut butter and chocolate one. We added more recipes to our final pages including todays cupcake. We decided to make the Oreo one again to get a picture. We did our seasonal decorations pages.

Today we brought in two cupcakes. We only gave out one to the class because we will work on the other one. The peppermint bark twist was successful today. However, we will work on the peanut butter and chocolate one for next week. Yerliz today worked on the title page for our final cook books. Jordan worked on putting all the seasonal decoration ideas together. I went ahead and continued working on the final pages for our recipes.

Today we didn't bring in cupcakes due to some difficulties. Next week we will bring two to make up for not bringing any today. We also make plans for decorations for next week. We worked on final pages for our cookbook. We also worked on our cover page. We wrote down a list of supplies we will need for putting it together. Since our cupcakes won;don't work I went ahead and did our decoration ideas. I did christmas and St. Patricks day seasonal decorations.

Today we passed out our sixth cupcake. It was twist of color. This was basically  chocolate and vanilla swirled together in the batter. They loved that idea and said the cupcake was great. We showed many decorations for this cupcake. We did a normal decoration as well as our seasonal decoration. The seasonal decoration was a Christmas theme. We did santa hats and ornaments. Our normal one was vanilla icing with chocolate polka dots. We wrote down all of the supplies we will need for our cookbook. My group also thought about new ideas for that. After that, we came up with our next two cupcakes. Next Friday we will do something different. Jordan will bring in one cupcake will I will bring in the other. By doing this we will improve our speed of progress. We will do our seasonal decorations for one of the cupcakes in class. The other I will do at home. After all of this I work on possible titles pages.

Today our Chocolate Carmel blend cupcakes were handed out. My classmates said that they were really good. Also, we put in action are new idea of adding onto our original idea. It was to add a section about decorating ideas. We took our Chocolate Carmel cupcake and figured out what would be some cute fall decorations. My group all brought in supplies for the decoration. We used carmel, tootsie rolls, mini chocolate chips, and fall colored sprinkles to do this. My group and I created our own ways of using these things to make different fall objects. Everyone of use came up with our own way to make turkeys out of these supplies. We also created mini acorns. After this we decided on our new cupcake. We came up with our new recipe for Chocolate and vanilla blend. This then led on to us working on our presentation.

Today we presented our double chocolate cupcake.We gave everyone one cupcake each.  Everyone said that they loved it. We also went around and took a picture of people eating the cupcakes. After we did this we planned our next cupcake. Our next cupcake will be Carmel Chocolate Blend. We will bring in supplies and then we will decorate the cupcakes with a surprise next time. We also planned our cookbook. We wrote down the supplies each of us will bring in for the book as well as the cupcakes. Our group worked on planning for our update presentation. 

Today we handed out are third cupcake. Our third cupcake was Carrot cake. The majority of the class said they loved it. The people that didn't like it said that they didn't like Carrot Cake to begin with. The people that loved Carrot Cake said it was the best they had. Our carrot cake was definitely a hit. After this we decided on our next cupcake. Our next cupcake will be Double Chocolate BOO. This will be for the season feeling of Halloween. We will be decorating the cupcakes as a ghost. WE came up with our own recipe for this cupcake. We then looked at pictures and book ideas.

10/17/13 

Today we presented our second cupcake to the class. Oreo Blast was this second cupcakes. It had an Oreo chocolate base with a cream cheese base icing. We handed our cupcakes out to everyone in the class. This time our cupcake didn't have any weird after taste. This Oreo cupcake was a big hit. We posted a link for everyone to right their comments in. People visited this link and sent us the reviews. This cupcake was better than our first. After this we decided on our next cupcakes. Our next cupcakes being Carrot cake we came up with our own recipe.

Today was are first Friday of bringing in cupcakes to class. At home this weekend I made our first cupcake idea. The cupcakes was red velvet. We handed out napkins and the mini cupcakes to everyone in the class. After we did that we went around and asked everyone if they liked it or not. We got fifteen likes and one no. The one no told us that the batter had a weird after taste, but that the icing was amazing! To fix this problem we will add more sugar to the batter. After we reviewed those results, we started thinking of ideas for our next cupcake. Our next cupcake will be Oreo Blast. This cupcake will involve tuns Oreo and chocolate with cream cheese Oreo icing. We came up with our recipe ingredients. We also came up with cute decoration ideas. Our red velvet was a success, now we will find out if our Oreo Blast will be one to.

Today we researched different recipes for red velvet cupcakes. Then we put them to gather, and we also added things and took out ingredients. We also looked for the perfect recipe, and we decided to use the cream cheese icing that I have been using forever. We then came up with the decoration. After that we searched for red velvet tips, and wrote some down. Then we came up with our directions that we will follow when making them.

Today we were researching like crazy. We started looking up good cupcake tips. We found many which included useful information. One tip was to prepare ingredients that are room temperature. Another was to use large sized eggs for moister. We then researched frosting tips. One valuable tip was to wait till the cupcake cooled then frost it. We couldn't really find many tips on frosting. We then started brainstorming for different and fun flavors. One interesting flavor was chocolate coffee carmel mocha. One of my personal favorite was the carrot cake.

Today we spent a hour on brainstorming for our project. After so many wrong turns we were starting to get discouraged. We had lots of ideas but they didn't work. Our first idea was to paint a mural. That idea didn't last very long, and we were not that excited about it.  Then we thought we had a great idea about dressing up as disney characters. That idea would be where we planned an event were teenagers could be kids again. This idea was very exciting to us. We had to leave this idea behind though.We also wanted to come up with and idea of how to make crutches better. Our group wasn't to excited about that. We also didn't want to spend forever on that topic. After all of this we added a new group member to our group. After many ideas and discussions, we came up with are greatest and final idea.
